Founder and owner of the Soap Cake Factory Gili has worked as a chemical engineer for the majority of her life. Before founding The Soap Cake Factory, Gili worked for a company that made household cleaning goods, where she encountered hazardous chemicals daily.
The experience left Gili with a less-than-clean taste in mouth and mind.
“The strong odors of the detergents made me feel unwell, the chemicals were unhealthy, and it did not feel right.”
She decided to start making soaps made from natural ingredients that provide benefits beyond cleaning the dirt of the day.

Set of 3 massage soaps
The set of 3 massage soaps brings three different scents with a design made to relieve stress. The bumps on the soaps massage the muscles, kneading and relaxing the body as it is cleaned. The first soap, Spa, has a patchouli-grapefruit scent reminiscent of the spa experience. Next is the Ocean soap which includes jojoba oil beads, which clean and enrich the skin with moisture. The small pieces of jojoba are used as a natural exfoliant renewing the skin. Last is the Lavender soap, made with soothing lavender essential oil that makes for a naturally easing lavender scent.

Orange soap made from olive oil
The Orange soap made from olive oil is one of the first soaps created by Gili. A staple of Israel, olive oil has been used as an ingredient for centuries for a variety of purposes, including the making of soap. Mixed with shea butter, cocoa butter, grape seeds oil, almond oil, and coconut oil, the soap gives the skin a youthful and radiant glow. Calendula dry flowers have been incorporated to gently exfoliate the skin and scrub away impurities. The orange colored soap is also filled with orange essential oils, resulting in a soap that features all of the health benefits from oranges while also looking and smelling like the fruit.

Olive oil coffee soap
The coffee soap is made from coffee extract in substitution of water and incorporates other ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, grape seed oil, coffee extract, and ground coffee beans. Coffee contains antioxidants that keep skin young, super smooth, and vibrant. The coffee is a natural scrubbing, giving a gentle exfoliation and cleanses the skin thoroughly.

Aromatherapy – cherry tree blossom
The aromatherapy soap collection has five different aromatherapy soaps made from essential oils. The fragrance extracts used in this soap refresh your senses, and the glycerin base of the soap lathers the skin with moisture that makes the skin smooth and full of life. The cherry tree blossom soap has a scent of cherry blossoms, reminiscent of spring. The soap itself is pink-transparent hue, matching the aesthetic of the transient flower. The aromatherapy soaps are also available in the green clay, citrus fruit, Tea tree, and lavender fragrances.
